Same reason they think that mid-30s Bill Hicks looks "exactly" like fresh faced 19 year old Alex Jones when they are obviously different people who happened to have central Texas accents and similar distrust of the government - the facts that debunk their crazy theory are to be ignored when you can cling to stupidity.
