Very interesting. I am not very familiar with this viewpoint and looked for a refresher/ overview, sure there may be other resources: https://christinprophecy.org/articles/the-pre-wrath-rapture/
My understanding has always been pre-trib rapture and witnesses left on earth during tribulation and new comers to faith in Christ during tribulation. I believe that could explain the beheaded coming to judgement(they came to faith and died during trib) and those waiting in heaven are the pre-trib raptured waiting until the 7 yr tribulation is finished and they ride from the heavens behind Jesus to destroy the world and all evil. Ill go look up scripture to backup and edit.
Edit : The Seventh Trumpet: Revelation 10:7, 11:15, 18 “But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets. . . . The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in Heaven, which said: ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever. . . .’ The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. THE TIME HAS COME FOR JUDGING [AVENGING THE BLOOD OF] THE DEAD [MARTYRS], AND FOR REWARDING YOUR SERVANTS THE PROPHETS AND YOUR SAINTS AND THOSE WHO REVERENCE YOUR NAME, BOTH SMALL AND GREAT – AND FOR DESTROYING THOSE WHO DESTROY THE EARTH.”
Before the Great Tribulation begins, God will select, empower, and seal 144,000 servants who will serve Him as prophets during the Great Tribulation. These people will speak for God. Because of religious arrogance and gross ignorance, most of these servants of God will suffer the fate of prophets in ages past. (Matthew 23:37)
Reading earlier in chapter 13, with the mention of saints I was under the impression that was maybe the 144 but now I wonder if that could be the mid trib rapture of the church: 5 A mouth was given to him to speak boasts and blasphemies. He was also given authority to act[e][f] for 42 months. 6 He began to speak[g] blasphemies against God: to blaspheme His name and His dwelling—those who dwell in heaven. 7 And he was permitted to wage war against the SAINTS and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. 8 All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book[h] of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.[i]
9 If anyone has an ear, he should listen:
Edit: Holman Christian standard Bible
So many ideas right now: deja vu in perfect harmony. I am reminded of the birth of Jesus and the promise of the church as his bride. Also the fact of Lucifer falling from grace. I am trying to connect the last to possible present happenings and that is where my thoughts land. Been a minute since I through the last book and definately requires a reread.

This I will think on. It is intriguing. I've always had a foreboding I'd end up in the mess of it. The world is dark indeed.
Or are the martyrs the 144,000 mid trib 'mini after rapture'(TMme) and only 2 witness are left for the extent of tribulation?
Wow. Yeah, definately sparking interest. I'll dig into this.
