Guess Texas should have done a better job setting up their own power grid since they wanted to be independent from the rest of the country. Love how people complain about windmills and solar panels and don't talk about all the big oil refineries that had to shut down because of the weather....

Did you forget obama closed the coal plants... That worked fine in the cold

Grimes County Coal Power Station Closed 2018 Freestone Country Coal Power Station Closed 2018 Bexar County Coal Power Station Closed 2018 Titus County Coal Power Station Closed 2018 Milam County Coal Power Station Closed 2018 Vernon County Coal Power Station Closed 2020 Wilbarger County Coal Power Station Closed 2020

All closed in Texas under the Trump administration and that was just through a quick search. There may be more. Coal is a dead issue, it makes no sense either environmentally or economically. Also, they don't work fine in cold weather because coal-fired power plants need water to stay online. Yet those water facilities froze in the cold temperatures and others lost access to the electricity they require to operate.

"The ability of some companies that generate the power has been frozen. This includes the natural gas & coal generators," Texas Governor Greg Abbott wrote on Twitter.

Your spreading fake news. I just checked the first plant on your list. It was sold in 2016 to a green energy company because coal was to expensive under obama and all his executive orders which raised the price.

Since you're first example is fake news I'll just assume the rest are fake also.
