It seems like everyone the news talks bad about turns out to be good, just saying.

I had this theory and even posted in a few months ago in this site about how the US and other 1st world nations created N.K. for the sole reason of experimenting on people, especially the idea to see how far you can control people who are devoid all freedom.

I think this one is also very plausible.
