The Colorado river has long since been captured and dammed. Until today it is incomparable. Such retreat and decline. At its lowest levels in history.

Amusingly from billionaires and developers profiting. When the first dams went up they sent entire towns into tumbleweed creating dustbowls out of flood basins. Energy and water mains have created massive profits for others controlling the flow and tapping its resource. But that story is sooner becoming of its finite reserves in drought and over use. Water levels have dropped by almost a 100 feet in places.

They're probably planning to cut off CA's water supply, and then corner the Socal bottled water market. Half a million to fill up your pool one bottle at a time.
