Came here because another user posting on greatawakening raised a good question and keeps getting banned by the mods. If it was a rogue mod that took thdonald.win domain name away, then why would they redirect it to patriots.win? If you were trying to fuck over TDW, then redirecting the domain to PAW doesn't make any sense.

This is Adam's take on it (Adamcast IRL) after he interviewed the original mod.
Not stating it as fact, but its interesting to hear the other side of the story.
Go to thedonald.win and read the other side of the story. The "rogue mod" shares his side on that domain. To me it just sounds like they had a fight over something and broke up the site after the fight.
The dispute was about ownership of the URL. It seems pretty straightforward. I've read both sides of the story and don't see a conspiracy involved.
Someone else was spamming the GAW board saying this and accusing the mods there of being in on it, and the mod there kept banning him. When I asked the mod why we couldn't post about it, he said go post it here.
It just seems to me like they decided to change the name and used the rogue mod as a story to tell. I appreciate everyone's input so far.
Thank you for your detailed reply!
These days I have an issue with freedom of discussion and information. It doesn't make sense to post on PAW and pose this question, but your response does make sense and I appreciate your explanation.
Ya it's weird...I started off there a few months ago. I saw the Adamcast and remember them talking about a mod who wanted to take over but the guy didnt want to give it over to him, next I know the mod posted that they took it over, I don't even know what to say but.....weird
It didn't redirect the url, they changed the landing page of tdw to redirect the browser with a message saying it will be changing to paw. You don't need access to the url to upload a Web page.
