The administration is insane. I as an alumnus do not recommend modern Caltech to students anymore, the admin has become totalitarian to undergrads and it is far too PC for a science school. Science is not PC, it is about truth and not social values of truth or names. We're not about to rename red dwarf stars just because some idiot decided 'dwarf' is not PC.
I take issue with the terminology of "male" and "female" connectors, because reality is not as binary. All connectors should facilitate transitioning. And don't get me started on constellations, for most are male, except "virgo" which glorifies a fetish of the patriarchy.
