Many of you may know, but there was, and likely still is, a large amount of money laundering that goes on with the Vatican bank due to its unique position as a large bank of a sovereign nation that sets its own rules. A banking scandal was related to the last pope stepping down, and Chinese money coming into the Vatican is keeping them afloat now that they can't rely on tourism dollars during covid.
Not sure what this entails in the bigger picture for the soul of the church, but I wanted to pass it along.
Catholicism was never Christian. There are Christians who are Catholic. They are only tolerated to provide cover.
Nothing is more pointless on the internet than the Catholic vs. Protestant debate. It's even worse, if that's possible, than debating liberals on Twitter.
Bible verses and shot at each other like bullets in a cowboy gunfight kapow all to no effect. Historical facts rain down like so much artillery, all to no effect.
In the end, both sides have exhausted themselves on the battlefield and nobody can agree on anything other than we are brothers in Christ and that the Mormans aren't even if they say they are.
I'm not going to participate. Thanks!
Plug your ears and shout la la la then. The fact is the Church of Rome leadership went to Byzantium with Constantine when his government left in 330 AD. Rome was taken over by Gnostic Arians who built their own fake church there. None of this is a secret.
Couldn't help yourself, could you? I mean I tell you exactly what happens every time either some plucky evangelical things they are re-nailing the 95 thesis and every Catholic thinks he Aquinas....and instead of just moving along with a "meh" you knew and you still stick your finger in the the light socket.
Oh, and you're wrong.
I grant you the last word to spew blah blah blah as your conscience permits.
You said you weren't going to participate. You don't speak for me and you obviously have no reluctance about lying with regards to your own actions. Do you think anyone will believe your hard hitting, no it isn't, argument or be impressed by your morally superior tone? I know I'm not.
