It's infuriating how everyone in the city where I live seems 100% fine with what life has devolved into. When this bullshit started the surgeon general was on national television saying that there were going to be so many bodies in the streets that we would struggle find places for them all. A year later and I literally do not know a single person that knows a single person that has died of COVID.
The "pandemic" is never going to be defeated. "Public health" is the weapon that will be used (and already has been) to take away our rights, and prevent us from assembling and organizing. I'm guessing there's something much nastier coming down the pike that all of the lockdown nonsense is preparing the way for.
