Before going to bed + browsing r/conspiracy, I saw an old talking point of the CCP's for COVID-19 which is blaming 2019 World Military Games in Wuhan for the origin. SMH
The talking point is:
The 7th Military World Games (Oct. 18-27, 2019) was the first international military multi-sport event to be held in China and also the largest military sports event ever to be held in China, with nearly 10,000 athletes from over 100 countries competing in 27 sports.
Almost 10,000 soldier athletes from 100 countries were running around a city just prior to the outbreak of a global pandemic and the corporate media was wholly and solely focused on a local laboratory. Now China's economy and reputation take a hit while the US economy goes into hard reset making the uber wealthy billions more as small businesses across the country permanently close and jobs are lost by the millions.
However, here is a counterpoint:
On Sep 18, 2019 (well before the 2019 World Military Games),
the joint unit of Wuhan Customs' executive committee and PLA SOF held an emergency training exercise, "Guarding the National Security and the Safety of Military Transport," at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.
• The exercise was focused on the definitive course of disposing a new type of coronavirus infection found in the airport passages. — See the archived web page of Hubei Daily, Hubei Province government's official publication.
• It's interesting that their exercise concerned a respiratory disease, specifically "a new type of coronavirus." It was September, and the Military World Games was on October, not December.
• For the record, the Wuhan city's cool season lasts for 3 months, from December 2 to March 5. The October's average high & low temperature in Wuhan city is 19-25 °C and 12-18 °C. [LINK]
• A more interesting point is that this politburo used the phrase "a new type of coronavirus (the novel coronavirus)" on said government's official web page. It's particularly interesting because:
• Dr. Li Wenliang at Wuhan Central Hospital, who raised the alarm about the coronavirus in the early days of the outbreak, and his colleague Dr. Ai Fen, the director of the emergency department at said hospital, didn't use the expression "a new type of coronavirus" at first.
• These two medical doctors used the phrase "SARS coronavirus" when they spread the message for the first time, because they didn't know it was a new type but thought it was a SARS from 2002–2004 outbreak. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Then,
On Oct. 18, 2019; the Event 201 exercise was held at The Pierre hotel in NYC, and the Military World Games 2019, officially known as "the 7th CISM Military World Games," began in Wuhan city. The rest is history.
