https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-takes-additional-action-fight-against-covid-19-issuing-emergency-use-authorization-second-covid#:~:text=The%20FDA%20has%20determined%20that,effective%20in%20preventing%20COVID-19. It's right in here under the EUA process
The issuance of an EUA is different than an FDA approval (licensure) of a vaccine, in that a vaccine available under an EUA is not approved.
Meaning: YOU ARE the trial. :D
FDA relaxed food ingredient listing on containers at the beginning of COVID. For almost a year, companies can change ingredients in their products and not change the listed ingredients on the container.
"FDA is issuing this guidance to provide restaurants and food manufacturers with flexibility regarding nutrition labeling so that they can sell certain packaged foods during the COVID-19 pandemic. This guidance does not apply to foods prepared by restaurants."
The vaccine is only approved for emergency use and def isn't backed by the FDA. I will see if I can find the source.
