[meta] When people get banned here, assuming they were making good contributions then crossed a line, can we preserve their posts instead of deleting them all?

I’m not sure what the settings are like for the mods, but twice now I’ve had good discussions with HONEST contributors, only to find a day or so later all of their comments deleted. According to the logs you can usually point out a potential line they may have crossed, but still they crossed that line in a single/handful of comments, not 100% of their contributions...
