check out their alexa rank. The graph shows exponential growth that went vertical a couple days ago.
I fear Gab will just be like Facebook only with a heavy conservative leaning tilt. Some of their suggested "stories" are hard cringe. Yet, some of my favorite underground conspiracists use that platform, so ive been there a hot minute.
I joined today. The site was pretty slow to load but I'd imagine they're getting millions of new users a day.

That's what I was gonna say, the layout and design for Gab is kinda like a nice middle ground between Twitter and Facebook with a better UI
