I was born a Globalist just like Mormons and Jews are born into their religious worldviews. All I have is weakening faith in our institutions and in our prophets like Albert Einstein and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Help me see a new path.
Edit: Graph made it clear my original post came off confrontational so I've changed it.
I don't think it's flat to us. As a Christian I struggled with this a bit because the Bible clearly described the earth as a circle, thus implying that it is flat. But God showed me that those descriptions in the Bible are from a heavenly perspective.
As we know, God is above time, therefore He exists in at least the fifth dimension (though He's higher, my guess is that there's 12 dimensions, but I have no way to be sure). But basically, because He is above time, He looks down to earth over all of time. As we all know "time is a flat circle", so to God the earth, and all its time, is a flat circle.
But we operate in the 3rd dimension, so we can't experience all of time. So to us time is a sphere, we can only be at one location on its surface at any time. And this is exactly the same with earth. Therefore, it's a globe.
Man, the Bible clearly says the earth is flat and immovable. There are hundreds of verses to support this. None to support the globe. How many times in the Bible does it say ends of the earth!? Over a hundred times. Does a ball have ends? I don't think so. NASA is the dark funding the CIA uses for all its evil workings. Total hoax. I woke up 4 years ago and never will ever go back to globe belief.
Oh for fuck sakes, now you're using a book written thousands of years ago as proof? Jesus H Fucking Imbeciles. The stupidity of these types of posts are the essence of being a dumb fuck.
Hello my flat headed friend, how do you reconcile all the trades in the world that rely on the earth being a globe including shipping and most travel, aerospace, weather, satellite tech, navigation, etc...
Are everyone in these fields in on the gag, or all won't, or so you cry fake and release the dogs of war?
