What is the significance of this? Sell me on your theory, I don't have one
You won't be able to use any device except LTE and 5G phones. No more Nokia, flip phones, etc.
oof
I didn't realise that. I thought 5G is about new mobile internet standard and it doesn't affect how you call or text people. Will older phones really stop working at all? This is the first time I hear about it, big oof indeed
Yes. 2G, 3G and early 4G will be completely unusable in the USA. All old phones will effectively be unusable. (unless a new carrier comes along)
No. There are plenty of flip phones that use volte. And nokia bar phone also does. Tell tmobile even sells a home style bar phone that uses 4g. If this concerns you please go 5o back to you 56k modem and dial-up.
No. The only flip phones you can get anymore are those crappy boomer phones with huge buttons and no other functionality.
Also Nokia only mentions 2G on their website: https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_int/nokia-3310
This is to force you to buy Cuckerberg and CCP infected 5G smartphones so they can harvest your data and track you if you protest, among other things.
New smartphones are also all ugly huge slabs of glass.
No. Look right on tmobile site. 4g bars and flips, and home phone bar style. Go prepaid and you could pay phones. Nokia offers several non-smart "feature" phones. Flip right there on 4g.. https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_int/feature-phones?connectivities[]=4G Don't down vote me because your wrong. The one phone you linked to is 2g. Hundreds of others aren't. 3310 has a 4g version... https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_in/support/nokia-3310-4g-user-guide/
And tmobile even lots a 4g flipper. https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone/alcatel-go-flip-3?sku=610214661463
