I see zero evidence of a new flu that kills people.

"Covid deaths", along with skyrocketing suicide, overdoses and homicide and the death rate is almost equal? Well shit, who knew a pandemic would basically increase the population?

This table skips January. There are more than average deaths this year, but not to the level they'd like you to believe.

This chart gives a nice comparison to an average of the last 5 years. You can also add a lot of countries too!

The chart lets you break it down into age groups, but unfortunately the bottom group is 15-64. I'd like to see under 30 or under 40 as their own group but even up to 64 has pretty low excess deaths this year.

Yea it’s up about 200k this year according to CDC. Not sure if that’s an accurate number but the OP post is using CDC data that leaves out data points.

It absolutely is not up 200k this year. People are getting that number through some erroneous assumptions.

Here is my post laying out all the numbers:

According to the CDC it is. You can download the dataset from the CDC and organize it according to month. Took me about an hour to do.

Not that I’d put it past the CDC to fudge numbers, but according to their data there’s about 200K more deaths so far this year.

Here’s the link if you don’t believe me. Ignore all the causes of death, just add up the total number each week until this point last year and compare.

CDC is pulling weird shit with their numbers. My post that I linked has those weekly numbers added up and shown in graph form. I got something like 77k more deaths in 2020 to week 48 compared to all of 2019. Still within historical variation so far.

What count did you get for 2020 all deaths?

Based on a contrived BS analysis. Look at the John Hopkins study.

Supposedly this isn’t an analysis dataset. It’s just the total deaths reported by coroners in each state.

I also feel like there is funny business being played with the data, just not sure how.

Its based on a poisson regresion model not data. Its an estimate that is being contrived. Actual excess deaths are below 2020

Explain to me how that 300k number was arrived at. I know what it's based on. Do you?

2019 total is leaving out January. The real total for 2019 is 2,852,590.

2020 up to week 48 was 2,926,129. (This number may be higher now if new data has come in.)

2,926,129 - 2,852,590 = 73,539

You can look at the numbers here:

In the upper righthand corner next to "View Data" there's an "Export" button. Click and select your data format.

That dataset doesn't include january. Why? Fucked if I know. However the number you're seeing there isn't the cdc estimate for total deaths in 2020.

Now they are saying it’s over 3 million. Even if you believe that, I would suggest the incompetence of the medical authoritarians did it.

‘Since the coronavirus pandemic hit, the number of patients visiting emergency rooms nationwide has dropped by 40 to 50 percent, says William Jaquis, M.D., an emergency medicine physician in Aventura, Fla., and president of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

"We are afraid that patients could potentially die at home,” Jaquis warns.

Older adults are especially at risk because they are more likely to have cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other chronic medical conditions that make putting off emergency care especially risky, doctors say.

Dale Criner, M.D., an emergency room physician in Memphis, Tenn., says paramedics there are reporting an increase in the number of cardiac calls they've responded to where the patient died before they arrived.

"When they talk to the family, it turns out the patient had chest pain or shortness of breath for a few days but was too afraid to come to the hospital,” he says. “It's heartbreaking."‘

I love how this year everyone is acting like no one has ever died before. People are screaming about 200,000 “Covid” deaths, but don’t seem to realize there are new retards born in this country every single day — we’re not running out of people any time soon, with a population of 328 million. Who gives a flying fuck if people die — people ALWAYS DIE, it’s how the world works. Accept it.

I could see if maybe we had 20 million dead there might be something to worry about — maybe. At least there would be more fucking jobs though.
