Demons are real. Angels are real.
These things did not get incorporated into Christianity later.
These entities have been real since the beginning of Creation.
But demons have, since their fall always sought to IMITATE GOD, not the other way around. They mimicked - and still do -- true reilgion, the true faith, and the true God.
The pagan religions were mimicking the TRUE FAITH, that which was originally shown to the Hebrews, and to all the nations of the world through the Church.
