I think Axo has scared the reddit admins...
posted 5 years ago by KennyLiquorbush 5 years ago by KennyLiquorbush +165 / -4

There is notably less shilling at /r/conspiracy recently. I actually had a post break double digits, which hasnt happened in months due to the brigading scripts that ShareBlue/MediaMatters/SPLC/TMoR usually run.

Axo is the man. I come here for all of my news on this subject. Anons do a better job of reporting than ANY msm source.

Axo is the man. I come here for all of my news on this subject.

You come here to conspiracies.win because the reddit admins have destroyed the free speech forum on /r/conspiracy through hidden censorship (mass shadow deleting comments and permi banning accounts).

Meanwhile Axo has largely sat back and allowed most of the 1.4 mil users there to continue to falsely believe that /r/conspiracy is still a free speech forum where you can post the truth about the ruling class.

And Axo has created 2 (not one) alternative conspiracy forums (here and /v/conspiracy) while not properly informing the majority on reddit of the existence of these free speech conspiracy forums.

Axo created one post on /r/conspircy about this forum (conspiracies.win) which was on the hot page for half? a day, while refusing to sticky post a notice there which might inform the majorities of regular users about this place.

Die hard conspiracy truth seekers are being shuffled off into this small forum, while the 1.4 million reddit conspiracy users are lulled to sleep under the illusion that they are still on a free speech forum that speaks truth to power.

I don't feel it falls solely on Axo to spread the word. It's something all of us should be doing. As for the other alternative forum, sometimes things just don't work out...it doesn't mean you should stop trying. In the age of obsessive censors and e-tyrants, it's important to have multiple channels/platforms available in the event that one is compromised or lost- IMO, that's what he's doing. Trying to find one that works.

I don't feel it falls solely on Axo to spread the word.

Axo is the head mod of /r/conspiracy. He is the one who can and should post a stickied notice there announcing that, due to overwhelming censorship from the reddit mods, an alternative free speech conspiracy forum has been setup.

It seems that he certainly has that choice- but considering the way Reddit has treated people like us, don't you think this would jeopardize his position there? I don't imagine Reddit takes kindly to outside competition- especially the kind of competition that enables free discussion among their declared enemies. Even if he does sticky a link/advisory, what's to stop Reddit from deleting the post? IMO, it's better for him (or us) to spread the word via other means so that his Moderatorship isn't called into question. That way he at least retains some control and "say" over the way things go in there. Seems like it's a better option than losing all influence and sway in an already hostile environment.
