For those Catholics out there who want to follow a group that has been doing real investigative journalism about the predator priests and associated cover-ups and hush money, I suggest the YouTube Channel of Church Militant.

If you're not Catholic, it my not be your thing, and yes, they have mostly election related videos the past month. But they tie the issues going on in the world to how it relates to corruption in the Catholic Church. For instance, many people do not know that the laicized serial predator Cardinal McCarrick did a multi-billion dollar deal with the Chinese to enrich the Vatican at the behest of Pope Francis. Doing so, they set up an "official" state sponsored Catholic Church for Chinese Christians. This official branch of the church is basically run by the CCP...with is highly unusual if one knows their church history. It also sold out the underground church in Hong Kong.

Note, the CCP goes so far as to modify the bible to their whims; for instance, they made a translation of the woman caught in adultery story where Jesus himself leads the stoning of the woman, rather than confronting the mob and telling that he without sin cast the first stone.
