Let's talk about Wes Bateman, a self proclaimed telepath who apparently over the course of decades made contact with aliens beings from different worlds. He's an author of a few books including:

He was huge in the 70's (as big as you can be in the ufo community) and apparently garnered a lot of attention for his ideas, frequently holding seminars that attracted the like of secret service type people. He was apparently chosen to be contacted by these aliens because 1 he was someone with a better ability to communicate telepathically and 2 because he was meant to disseminate the information about these people. On top of that this man influenced many ideas on the show Star Trek including concepts like the prime directive, the federation etc. Though he claims these are real things that exist right now in our universe.

Over the course of his book "Through Alien Eyes" he relays the stories of these alien people throughout notable past lives that gives a bit of context to the history of the universe as inhabited by people and more importantly the history of our Earth and solar system. He claims that roughly 252 million years ago a planet called maldec in our solar system was destroyed because of human made technology (the great pyramid of Egypt) which created chaos on Earth and made pretty much every other planet in our solar system uninhabitable. The side effects of the pyramid technology caused Earth to create a frequency barrier that essentially can make humans lose cognitive ability and devolve. Over the course of history this frequency barrier has gotten stronger and weaker thus accounting for golden ages and the uprising of civilizations like Atlantis 26000 years ago as well as the non linear fossil record.

I could speak on this for days but wanted to get a thread going to discuss the ideas. They're pretty kooky and you really have to stretch your mind to play with them as they push ideas wayyy past our current understandings, even by r/conspiracy standards.

Some notable claims he's made throughout his books that I find really interesting are:

  • The great pyramid was built 252 million years ago as a means to transport the energy of Earth to another planet
  • "Bigfoot" is not some strange creature but actually humans from outside our planet put here to test the effects of the frequency barrier, they normally look human but because of the barrier grow hair all over their bodies.
  • Our solar system used to be teeming with life of varying degrees progress, people lived on mars and many of the moons we see around Saturn and other planets.
  • Most of the aliens he talked to looked like and are considered human, you wouldn't notice them in a crowd. Though some variation occurs with things like height and proportions.
  • His outlines of how alien craft work in his book Dragons and Chariots
  • Humans have existed for more than 11 billions years
  • People have many past lives, and they can usually be remembered but inside the frequency barrier on Earth this ability is limited. (though sometimes you hear of kids doing this)
  • The human lifespan can naturally stretch many hundreds of years, sometime going over 1000 Earth years.

Has anyone else read Wes Bateman or even heard of him? I think his ideas need to be resurfaced and would highly recommend starting with Through Alien Eyes. His ideas resonate with a lot of people and when you read it even though logically a lot of what he is saying is kind of crazy it doesn't really seem that far fetched the way he explains it.
