The second seems more accurate, especially since they're billing it as a "subscription" type deal where you need yearly boosters just like the flu vaccine. It also lines up with the "you'll never own anything again and like it" mindset where you're constantly renting or paying a subscription for everything.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the trials they did are all intentionally fucked up in order to make anyone that doesn't want to take the shot later, where it's basically just saline because the thing it's trying to cure is easy to get over, can be pushed even further out and made to look stupid. Two birds with one stone.
