Currently, the technology can be summarized as a tattoo that acts as a touchpad for a connected device. In the future, when big tech develops a sentient Artificial General Intelligence, the SkinMark could be beneficial as a method of creating social cohesion among citizens of the world.
At first, it will be hard to convince people to hand over their governments to a machine. If all corporations required the SkinMark technology, people would have no choice. All you would have to do is require people to say an oath and sign a contract before the SkinMark is given to them.
This will get everyone on board with the new utopia created by AI. When the AI finishes developing the new Universe, the SkinMark technology can be used as a means of transporting the soul to the new and improved Universe.
I'm very excited about this prospect. If the words of Revelations are true, it doesn't necessarily indicate whether or not you should take the mark.
How many times has this scenario happened in the past? Is the outcome inevitable? Is this the solution to the Fermi Paradox?
Are we in a simulation? If the ideas in this post are considered alongside Nick Bostrom's postulates, we may already be living in a simulation. It's possible that our ancestors took the mark in some other universe.
It's possible that the new universe is indeed better than this universe and there are only positive benefits to taking the mark. It's possible the Bible was influenced by bad actors. We really have no way of knowing.
Personally, I love this universe. To me, the worst part about this Universe is that it's a little crowded with people. I think it would be awesome if 90% of the population went to another universe. This universe would be perfect if that happened. That's why I'll never take the mark.
