From my research looks like heliocentrism was invented and calculated on by Jesuit priests of the Catholic Church. The theories from their front man Nicolaus Copernicus of the Third Order of St. Dominic were supported by Jesuit astronomer Giovanni Battista Riccioli. The other thing I find odd Nicolaus Copernicus, Sir Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein were all high rank Freemasons and all occultists.
