Dems doing the lawyer thing, repubs doing the grilling / awareness thing.

Not a single mention of The Smith Mundt Act. Why not? Was this effectively an awareness campaign for journalists as to what's been going on and what to expect going forward?

I've some pretty nasty things to others over this past month in particular. I relapsed on booze and took it out on you. I'm sorry for that.

Back in 2017 I fell into one of the worst binges in my life and the withdrawal nearly killed me. I vowed to never drink again and I broke that vow a month ago. I just made it through day 1 of withdrawal again.

When I get drunk I feel euphoric which is why it's so tempting for me. The flip side is alcohol withdrawal and in the state of mind I get destructive.

Again, I'm sorry for my words.

He should

Prove me wrong

Seems to be the minimally sufficient criteria for an eternal being. Flow, free will, guidence. Nothing more.

Non-atheism is the true path. We're designed to ponder the ultimate reality so why are we giving up all our priceless free time to society?

Non-atheism: either something can't come from nothing or we are all part of an eternal being. Or reason is detrimental and therefore any reasoning is detrimental and therefore any moral justification is detrimental - that is, free for all / Hobbs state of nature.

Why aren't we building independent communities, like the amish? Are people that addicted to hedonism or are they that cowardly to try, or too ignorant to face reality?

Why am I not living in a world where independent communities are fighting for my residency? How is it completely contrary to that?

Why would an eternal being require me to read a book, written by men, over time, in order to "change my current present state into a more "pleasurable?" state? (Heaven).

If astrology has any basis then other solar systems with life have their own interpretations.

We're potential limited. Note the precise ordering of words. Matter could be 100% fabricated and you cannot refute that (https://medium.com/inserting-philosophy/george-berkeley-matter-doesnt-matter-6323f86485f7).

Would you even befriend a family member if you somehow forget they were blood related?

You can study for an IQ test.

I haven't met a person I morally agree with.

Gregory House - "friends allow you to not sit in a room by yourself". Sherlock Holmes reference.

I've had my life flash in front of my eyes. I witnessed my own life through the eyes of what I believe was a morally superior being. Felt like akashic record in real time. I've never been the same ever since.

I also thought I died once, for what felt like several hours. I communicated with a shadow man through telekenesis. I completely accepted that I had died.

I graduated high school with a 2.1 gpa. Skipped at least 1 year of school, was stoned the rest. I also broke a 50 year record in baseball. Eventually got a math degree.

I have only a few friends, which to me, means there are very few remaining moral people.

Why shouldn't a higher power punish us? And why shouldn't we just have fun until he does so?

The world has gotten more intolerable ever since The Office was removed from NetFucks

I've seen lots of articles popping up about chatGPT, its use in Bing, Google talking about militarizing AI, etc.

AI == training a model and using it withing a product. This product is optimized for some sort of utility. The model itself is optimized for some loss metric. The data used for the base model was likely selected intentionally. Others with do another training run on additional data to bias it for their utility.

AI in militarized applications is scary. AI isn't as advanced as regular schmos think; conversely, most regular schmos think AI needs to be super advanced to fuck shit up. Both are wrong.

Black mirror did the episode of a rouge dog-like machine that basically killed everyone. Not super advanced.

Side note, I had a vivid dream of farmers getting wasted by drone AI weapons about 2 years ago.

Why would the elite want a cashless society? Cash enables them to hide transactions and avoid taxes.

More plausibly, they don't want you pulling all your money out of Wells Fargo or Etrade, or whatever shit company you save your money in.

In the zerohedge article about Musk and Shiff, at the bottom before the comments, it's noted that:

"Meanwhile, in response to the Twitter Files revelation that the FBI was deeply embedded at Twitter, Rep. Jim Jordan said: "I have concerns about whether the government was running a misinformation operation on We the People."

Jim Jordan sounding tough but Smith Mundt will pop his bubble fast, and he knows this, so what's his angle?

"Awe schucks guys, they got us again." Smells like another Durham angle

Grand conspiracy theory:

  1. Twitter (social media) was designed to enable spying. Plain and simple. Doubt anyone disagrees with that.

  2. Shit got out of control. Wayyyy out of control. Just like all the "Talibans" and "ISIS's" get out of hand.

  3. Everything is a lie. There is not an ounce of reality in ANY narrative regarding MIC operations.

  4. They fucking built an AI they cannot control. Twitter spun out of control, social media has spun out of control. And it's gotten worst. Much worst.

  5. Everyone else who has attempted to defeat it has lost.

  6. This is where Musk comes into play

  7. Musk is attempting to eradicate this AI system and you can see it fighting back in real time, in all the comment threads EVERYWHERE.

  8. The fighting back is a snake with trillions of heads, each able to replicate any demographic and each able to reply with 0% to 100% truth.

  9. The genius is that is can be so subtle, to pervert just the right tiny detail that will cause butterfly effects.

  10. We're probably doomed because it's also building an army of the most corrupt humans, and perhaps even creating new powerful ones, whether real or digital.

  11. We're living in Oblivion, with Tom Cruise.

Small business doesn't count. Insignificant corporations dont matter. Too big to fail? Lol, wonder who came up with that slogan...

Starting to see this bs talking point pop up again.

TPTB wouldnt invest gazillions into a product without a customer. There was no genuine hype cycle, there was no consumer demands for such a system, and most investors wouldnt invest unless there was a path to monetization.

So, why develop it? What other applications could it be used for?

My first thought is the prison population. Perhaps there's a way (or in development) to put people into the metaverse and not let them out? Just hook them up to an IV for basic nutrience and enjoy your cost savings!

What else could it be used for because it's not for consumers bc consumers dont want it?

Perhaps earth is flat, just not flat like flat earthers say

Am i the only one who connected this dot?

We've seen the Australia stories where police arrest innocent people who are minimally living their lives and stay outside a few minutes too late.

The key to winning is making those govt operations too costly to continue.

What if people joined forces and set up traps for the police. Have an old lady stay out too late. When the police arrive to arrest her, have your people come out of the bushes, surround the police officers, steal their gear, strip them down to their underwear and cuff them to a park bench. Maybe break a few fingers or an arm. Then leave.

If these traps were to begin gaining traction, all of a sudden the govt would need to reassess the cost of those operations and likely pull the plug. Further, because people would figured out how easy this would be to replicate and generalize, they would gain much more power themselves which would only add to the cost increases govt would have to pay and police officers would begin second guessing their willingness to enforce.

• If a comment in reddit was generated because a company paid for it to be created, a disclosure should be attached to that comment.

• If a comment in reddit was generated because a government entity paid for it to be created, a disclosure should be attached to that comment.

• If a comment in reddit was generated because a non-profit organization paid for it to be created, a disclosure should be attached to that comment.

• If a comment in reddit was generated by a person not affiliated with any organization, then no disclosure should be necessary.

The spirit of the law would be to make it impossible for organizations to push content without the people knowing which organization(s) are responsible for said content.

I see some seriously filthy and disgusting comments all over reddit. If the source of those comments are from an organization, I want to know.

Note, this law should apply to all internet and social media, not just reddit.
