The fact that some things mentioned in the patent both never appear and nobody remembers them, really isn't that relevant. It would be a bit like if I had a strong memory of Larry Bird playing for the Lakers in the 1980s. Then, I found evidence of Larry Bird actually playing for the Lakers back then, and your response being, "You didn't find evidence of Michael Jordan playing for the Lakers, did you?"
