In 2020, he was one of the early dissenting voices around COVID because he researched its patent – finding that published genomic sequences of the virus were patented as early as 2015. His argument was that one couldn't patent a naturally occurring phenomenon and that the virus only existed as a computer model, ergo had never been "isolated," and therefore couldn't be identified as a disease-causing pathogen.

So, I'm genuinely confused as to why he now has this stance: the virus is a real thing, able to cause disease, transmissible, and made in a lab by evil scientists. Was he co-opted into this narrative or is there something I'm not understanding?

Other researchers have arguably debunked the whole study of "virology" as being a fraud since its inception, and I personally believe that the R&D done by EcoHealth and Wuhan were to perfect the various poisons in the vaccines and possibly those to be introduced in the near future.
