Same thought here as well.

Everyone is so quick to judge demons, inter-dimensional entities, and aliens but the only real evil on this planet that I have seen or experienced, was from humans.

The bible was right in that regard, humans have the capacity for evil, as well as good, well whatever story the bible plagiarized that from anyway.

Im envious of op, I wish I could believe in a book so much to have that much faith, but I cant exclude all other faiths and beliefs because one single source asks me to. Sounds like a human thing.

I dont even mind the odd flat earth post as long as its not something thats been talked about over and over.

But this preaching op has been doing about anyone who doesnt follow his abrahamic god is going to burn in eternal hellfire sounds like a post better suited for a Abrahamic forum. There are plenty of these forums around and have existed longer than reddit.

And it kills me too, I wont talk about the fact that "god" has been used as an excuse to murder millions of people. But the governor and previous governor of ohio.

These people are deeply religious, but yet are obvious crooks. I remember the last governor kasich when being asked to talk about his election tour (he was going to pretty much every state running for president), he randomly blurts out.

“You know that Daniel Radcliffe has declared himself an atheist?” Kasich said to no one in particular. “I’m serious. What a weird thing. Why would a guy who has had all that success just, I mean, what the hell is wrong with him?”

These guys are dumb enough to think because they are randomly born into wealth and local power structures that they are blessed by god. Sure ok whatever, You see this as a reoccurring theme in local churches. Which makes no sense, jesus didnt have a penny to his name and isnt going to reward the ultra faithful with riches, in my humble opinion.

But they take it even a step further, the amount of money these people have stolen from the taxpayers, kasich with his private school fiasco, was caught stealing money through a in law who was faking grades and in one case an entire existence of a school if I remember right. The republican governor before him was caught stealing coins bought with taxpayer money through his secretary. And the current governor dewine, who sweared on a fucking stack of 10 bibles, was the likely greased wheel that allowed the first energy scandal to happen.

These people will not have to face repercussions for their crimes because everyone in Columbus is deeply religious and I would bet they all go the same churches where they are used to funnel all this stolen tax money. Its insane.

And they think its their right, why, because of god duh.

Yeah ok.
