Normally I would see it as comedy. But that awkward romanticizing of Semites and the hand holding with Lisa in the museum in front of her Father was just too much for me to assume good intent. And that Bart for president "SEX" poster was disgustingly out of place. There was no reason for that. No good writer or animator could have made that. The process of animation is too slow not to have put thought to a better version of this joke while crafting it.
