To be honest I think we’re probably on a sphere like every other celestial body, but I don’t dismiss the idea of other shapes out of hand, I’ve seen enough “scientific facts” born entirely out of corruption, incompetence, an unwillingness to challenge the current paradigm, etc. to know “Science^TM” these days is being used by TPTB to supplant The Church as their control mechanism.

I would say, for the most unbiased approach, start with the moon landing (I recommend the doc American Moon) then understand that almost every aspect of “space” science (climate, satellites, rocketry, experimental propulsion, weather, geoengineering, and on and on) go through NASA aka the deceivers.
