It is not Ukraine (as people) at all.

I think Western puppet masters never really seen Ukraine/Russia as some separate entities and never will. From the Western point of view all this looks like they tricked some part of evil Russia to fight against other part, in the hope to weaken their forever enemy as whole. They literally see all that ex-USSR space as continuation of USSR/Russian Empire and do all their shit from the point of creating conflicts between ex-USSR republics accounting them as internal parts of Russia. None of ex-USSR republics eventually got something really useful for them from the West. Even that chihuahua Baltic states who thought that they have a chance to become true part of Europe, was turned into wastelands with completely destroyed industry and no means of existence without direct EU finacing. Hadrly anybody today remember that Baltic states in USSR was semiconductor and electronics powerhouse. They had also all possible advanced tech at the time, from nuclear power to car factories. West could easily create second Taiwan here, using existing production facilities build by USSR, because at the time USSR semiconductor abilities was on par with the West, there was no significant lag in process and other stuff. But, suddenly, everything was just destroyed. They even forced Lithuania to close reliable and cheap power source in the form of Ingalinskaya NPP, forcing Baltic to import electricity, when Lithuania exported power before. That's not how you act with family members, that's what you do with enemy - destroy industrial power and so soverenity and make it fully dependent on you. Same with Ukraine - it was a part of airspace powerhouse at the moment of USSR fall, but eventually turned into rainbow Monsanto fields with population seeking job as migrants in Russia.

All in all, many questions could be resolved if you try to analyze Western behaviour toward ex-USSR as continuation of Cold War narrative with the goal of destruction of USSR as whole and perception of that space literally as USSR where they get some control over some of its parts, which are still parts of hated Russia/USSR empire and so have to be destroyed and weakened.

Add to this insane obsession of British elites about that "queen of seas" idiocy, "world police" USA narrative and Western envy to Russian resources. So you have all that.

Even current events in a very pro-West Georgia who GTFOed West recently, become understandable from that point of view. Just Georgians finally got that West have no single thought on doing something for Georgia good and wealth, and will never account Georgians and Georgia as equal or at least close to them. There is no any good future for Georgia reserved in Western plans. Because Georgia is just a part of their eternal enemy.

Also, compare fate of ex-USSR republics who turned to West with Belarus. Completely food secure, no poverty or homelessness, stable development, among world leadesr in giant mining dump truck production (BelAZ), strong in usual truck automotive industry (MAZ), manufacture tractors and other agro tech (Bealrus, and you could service and repair it without paying anything to official dealer), electric power exporter and so on. None of other ex-USSR republics have that level of development. And Belarus completely ignored coronahoax. Most remember only Sweden who didn't impose masks and lockdowns, but Belarus didn't do that too, and in addition prohibited any mandatory vaccinations even for private businesses, unlike Sweden, all that despite open $1.5B bribe from IMF in exchange for lockdowns.

West could easily do the same and even much more for their new ex-USSR "allies", but clearly did absolutely nothing even close.
