Yeah I cant really imagine why these are banned. Im assuming its like what you say because they are technically "non refillable".

Prolly more like ohio when they made it illegal to use plyboards to board up foreclosed homes.

Ohio has the first state law to ban plywood in the United States, though some cities have also banned plywood - including Phoenix. The Ohio ban applies only to buildings on a fast-track mortgage refinance program.

Instead, what you have to do is buy a "clear" version of plyboard, called polycarbonate. They take wood and expose it to a plastic polymer or something.

Well could you guess, its a relatively new product only produced by a handful of people in the state, im sure who are conveniently friends with the governor dewine, or one or two of them go to his church anyway.

I guess polycarbonate is just a different version of plastic a bit harder than acryllic. Not sure why I thought it was made from wood.
