People who have a lot to lose, whether homes and riches, or family and their very lives (Muslims) speak strongly to me because Humans are lazy and will always take the path of least resistance if they can.

So for me, the texts are merely helpful to try and understand what went down but in the end it's always the Personal testimonies, which sway me. If other 'Gods' were appearing to people, or entities not running away when the Blood of Jesus was mentioned, I might give them consideration. But it doesn't happen, so I'm Team Jesus.
