Nah, I studied Kabbalah back in the day, it was very popular in the 70's and 80's, and that in itself is no big deal. Remember in 2015 he appeared on AJ's show and spoke to his audience and said he was aware of ALL the things his audience knew and he promised 'I won't let you down'. I doubt he was talking about just the economy and jobs at that point. Sure he did well with the economy, but without draining the swamp they would only reverse everything when he was out so what was the point.
