For deep biometrics beyond fingerprint they need:

1. mandatory biometrics for App / Usage X

2. An 'Event' that scares the world to which mandatory deep biometrics is the 'solution'

3. Deep enough penetration of hardware in the installed base to use / offer deep biometrics

4. Then app by app they will force deep biometrics to everything until it is the only option left
