It is unbeliveable insanity.

Today, there is no any problem to instantly share important information you have with whole world.

I could not imagine any real reason for wistleblower to keep information from release except may be some desire to get some ransom from corporation or whatever.

Wistleblower is a target only if he withhold some information. If information is already published, there is no any sense anymore to kill a wistleblower, his death will be only additional proof that information he released is truthful.

So if a wistleblower doesn't publish full information he have, without any omission, regardless of all that crap about "protecting persons from whatever", with exact names, facts, locations, dates, unredacted documents and so on, then there is something else , filthy and disguisting.

Same applicable to all that "great inventors of great inventions" and other similar persons.

When you suspend or withhold some information you know, this information is a mortal danger for you.

PS: When Twitter Files was published with redacted email From/To fields without IP addresses from mail path, it became absolutely clear that Musk is nowere near about getting rid of government and elites control over Twitter. Following events show that absolutely clear. But the first proof of that was withholding information about malicious actors participated in Twitter censorship.

As positive example of correct wistleblowing I could point to Hunter Biden e-mails dump where nothing is redacted and all email information is published including mail headers. But still there should be doubts about fullness of that dump. May be some emails was deleted before publishing f.e.
