As for assuming someone's state of mind and 'wishing them a better day'. That statement is usually made in bad faith, with the intent of aggravating the person you are speaking to. As for it's usage in the real world, In the past 15 years, I have only met one person who has attempt to make that statement in good faith. And I don't think there is reason for such passive aggressive nonsense.
Say what you mean or don't speak. Don't ask or insist upon other men on the topic of feelings(their day). It's weird.
