IMO they are trying to kill biodiesel/biofuel.

No lithium mining, no cobalt mining, no long charging times, no short driving ranges, no battery disposal, no solar panel disposal, no windmill blade disposal. No EV exploding fires.No need to expand the grid..

Biodiesel does have a byproduct --- cattle feed ------> beef

With EVs they get to control you and make you eat bugs..

Notice how they demonize cows, limiting fertilizer and water --- next thing you know they will be blocking out the sun --- making synthetic meat.........................

Rolling off the lot ---- an EV has a bigger carbon footprint than a gas/diesel car/truck.
