nor are there any records of even one exploding gas/shower room. hydrogen cyanide is beaucoup boom-boom (like HHO for those familiar with DIY hydrogen generation). there's good reasons for the wiring/electrical codes in place for areas dealing with flammables/flammable gasses. i'm not a fan of OSHA, but their guidelines, along with the NEC, are because of avoidable deaths.
