Seems to validate my personal experiences, as well as the current narrative around "long covid" which I suspect is why we are seeing children labor laws loosen in places like ohio. Easier to loosen the labor laws than it is to keep children out of the workplace right now. Why would that be I wonder?

When I was poisoned with freon at my job, over a 6 month period draining refrigerators and freezers of freon in a small and poorly ventilated space with improper equipment. I ended up with full blown irregular heartbeat after my supervisor discovered a reclamation machine spraying out freon. This was after I had repeatedly told her that I was suffering palpitations and that I was pretty sure it was the freon doing it. I felt if I had stayed at the job I was going to have a heart attack. I even told Rick, the vice president of Arca that irregular heartbeat runs in my family and his response was to tell me about one of his employees who was 500ibs in the united states. Wouldnt be surprised if he gave that guy a heart attack. (well expedited it anyway)

I was given blood pressure medication by walk in doctors and a gp. I begged for beta blockers and was told that they were bad and I wasnt going to be given them.

Blood pressure raged 200/160 night after night. Was 200/110->180/110 resting blood pressure at the cardiologist while being described as "depressed". Notice, no "Manic depressive". WCB told me this was normal resting blood pressure, I have that on a voice recording. As well as them saying they dont have to test the air in the shop to see what I was being exposed to. Since, well freon cant cause palpitations or irregular heartbeat. Lawl.

Anyway, during the 7 months I waited for a holter, before being prescribed beta blockers. I couldnt keep a job. Irregular heartbeat is not something that is easy to understand when its happening to you, especially if your in denial. (Oh im fine, Oh ill get better, Im just being a piece of shit, lmao)

I cant explain what its like to go to sleep and wake up even more exhausted. Fucking terrible, do this for months and months and you may as well not even be a human being anymore, just a zombie. No ability to think properly. I had a sleep study done and they asked me if I was having health problems. I said yes I think i have an irregular heartbeat from freon poisoning. And their response was, "Yeah we wondered why it looked like you were playing basketball in your sleep.".

Explains why every morning I woke up I was covered in a sheen of seat, bed and pillow soaked.

Anyway, as you can imagine, try keeping a job when your so physically exhausted you dont want to move a muscle. Sounds alot like long covid to me.

https://www.brookings.edu/research/new-data-shows-long-covid-is-keeping-as-many-as-4-million-people-out-of-work/

In January 2022, Brookings Metro published a report that assessed the impact of long Covid on the labor market. Data on the condition’s prevalence was limited, so the report used various studies to make a conservative estimate: 1.6 million full-time equivalent workers could be out of work due to long Covid. With 10.6 million unfilled jobs at the time, long Covid potentially accounted for 15% of the labor shortage.

This may sound unbelievably high, but it is not inconsistent with the experiences of comparable economies. For example, a Bank of England representative recently stated that labor force participation has dropped by around 1.3% across the entire 16- to 64-year-old population (not just those who are working), and that the majority of that impact is from the rise in long-term sickness—

Youll notice, these "studies" only focus on the economical aspects of it of course. Not much is known about "long covid" itself, but from the endless posts in places like /covidlonghaulers and /vaccinelonghaulers. Seems to be mainly heart/adrenaline issues. Which sounds alot like "Cardiac Sensitization" which is exactly what happened to me, but with refrigerant, it is the main reason I would not get this shot. I cant risk going through that bullshit again. I'm pretty sure I ended up with permanent kidney damage from that as well as some kind of brain damage. I still hear music at night(Sounds like music down at the end of a valley when the wind blows just right) when im extremely stressed or extremely exhausted, something that didnt happen until after the hypertensive crisis.
