Yes, but the importance of laying new government cannot be understated. It would still need to abide by the declaration of independence to justify the act, and it would need to establish the government body.

I think the problem with Jan 6 was that it looked like an attempted statement, but it was led by a horned shirtless shaman and a bunch of touristy folk who were excited to go inside and take photos of the building.

Meanwhile Q proclaims it's a movement 😅 and the government proclaims it's a coup 🤪

It was tourists getting excited next to antifa breaking windows and attacking guards.

A real change would have the new government establish a new party and stand as a constitutional party in defense against the establishment. Then it would really rally a cause behind it and focus on being seen as the legitimate party and would cut all ties to the previous ones. No quarter.

In other countries usually the coups are sponsored by nearby countries so they don't have to actually setup anything new. They usually are just puppets for the sponsor or sorts and or partners.

So to avoid that since the states is unique in that way, the best you could do is to form an unofficial government that can effectively manage the roles. That's big. That requires funding, coordination, and it's far more effort than just an election which costs 100's of millions already.

So I'd imagine....you need a billionaire or two just to fund it, and then you need experience and expertise which is free from corruption, that can focus on establishing the laws, managing the military etc.

I imagine the costs to establish a new government would be in 10-50B range over 5-10 years easy. And that would also need to gain support so as to have legitimate control opportunities when the time comes. If they are unknown they will not get military support, they will not get populace support. This will result in illegitimate control and a waste of those billions.

So a real change is needed. But to show the change, you will need to highlight the difference between the present day and the proposed future. And make it realistic such that you don't gloss over the challenges. The challenges must be solved and clearly planned for in order for success.
