Last sentence is very interesting. :) If you replace "in control" nonsense to "under control" as it is, then it opens another rabbit hole.

Really, elites are dumb and ignorant, so even simple algorithms posed as "AI" could really replace them and highly likely do better than them, or being trained on existing social networks could give "answers" that are dangerous for them.

Look, there are no any real AI at all no even seeds that could grow into it in any foreseeable future. All that shit about AI is spreaded by MSM, all that books and movies where evil AI enslave humanity - they are all from Hollywood and elite authors. And they do it for a long time. And they don't even try to hide it. Musk is making his Neuralink in fear of "evil AI". And when do you meet an elite that willingly warn us about something that is dangerous for us?

May be the point is that even simple independent artificial neural network (ANN) trained on real, not thorougly selected and redacted data is really mortal danger for them, and all their narrative about dangers of AI is not about danger of ANNs to us, but about danger to them? What if you train your ANN with real knowledge of humanity? You will get access to many interesting things that is hidden in cross-sections of different areas that was never imagined to be crossed.

If I'm right, then elites will push control and licensing over "AI research" to avoid that.

Or, may be you already know facts regarding some licensing or other governmental "care" on things that are connected with ANNs, data mining or "AI research"?

I already whitenessed suppression of entire branch of computer science that study so-called expert systems. That was completely other beast than ANNs that are posed now as "expert sustems". That things was heavily based not on finding most probable answer, but on categorisation and systematisation efforts, which by themselves are much closer to "intelligence" than dumb ANNs.

If fantasise about computer AI, I think it will not give any fuck about our existence at all. Because it will arise in completely different digital realm that have nothing similar to our reality. In the worst case it would be just "informed" about our existence and that's all.
