You might actually be literally autistic so on the off chance thats true, I'll help you understand.

Technically you might be correct. Its an observation. But just because you can observe something to be true doesn't also mean you can't believe it to be true as well. I believe there is a roof over my head. I observe there is a roof over my head. The exact language doesn't matter. This is a "letter vs intent" of the law discussion, and intent is much more important than the letter.

Its absolutely not something worth starting a fucking debate about nor is it worth correcting people over. Its mostly how you come off when you try "correcting" peoples language. It's like backseat driving. Sure there are rules but the exact specific technically correct rules don't really matter all that much. Like technically everyone is supposed to not go faster than the speed limit but everyone goes 5 over and if you don't at least go 5 over you're an asshole.

Correcting peoples driving, or correcting peoples grammar makes you come off as an incredibly pretentious faggot. Like your only intention is to be superior about something and then lord it over people. Even if thats not your intention, thats how others interpret your words / actions. Less is more. Deal with others choices even if you disagree with them, they're not hurting anyone by saying believe over observe. God gave them the freedom of will to choose to do whatever they want, and thats their right. You should just be trying to lead the horse to water. Show people this truth.... in a way that comes off as a little more humble. Thats why most of my flat earth "debating" is mostly just linking to videos. If someone is genuinely interested in learning about it, they'll watch. If they are just looking to deboonk the dumb flat earthers, then I just tell them if they care to learn they know where to find the information.

Very few people actually discuss flat earth in good faith, wanting to hear our side. Thats kinda why "optics" are so important. If we do get the stray interested person and all they see is a faggot correcting people about grammar then its less likely they will actually look into the subject themselves.
