why would USSR probes be real?

Why not? I don't see any technical problems to do what USSR did in space. There was no NASA in USSR. And I never ever heard about anybody who at least tried to debunk USSR space program. There are tons of material about lying NASA, but none of that kind about Russian space program including Moon and interplanetary missions.
