Actually, it's hypocrisy that enrages me. It would be foolish to view upvotes or downvotes here as an actual reflection of peer sentiment. The rules of the platform allow for too much botting, shilling, and targeted harassment from users using multiple accounts. The votes might as well be meaningless. I'm here for discussion and to get people's takes on different arguments and ideas.
Seeing small dicked admins beat their chest over free speech and rights, only to engage in personal-vendetta style censorship when it suits them, is distasteful, to say the least.
I posted skepticism about claims that school shootings were "hoaxed". I don't rule out conspiracies, but claims about fake victims and hoaxes don't make any logical sense to me whatsoever, and I think can be ruled out with simple thought experiments. I'm talking about "fake town", "fake school", "fake children" bs. That doesn't rule out other "lean" mkultra style conspiracies.
I think that's a valid and neutral opinion.
I also addressed misinformation regarding a JFK quote. Although, in all fairness, I did get something wrong myself that I want to address in a new post. I know I directly, and somewhat aggressively disagreed with a mod on that one. But in all fairness, they are COMPLETELY wrong and it's easy to prove it with the full speech audio.
Other than that, I like to engage in aggressive debate, and like posting nuanced takes. I don't mind people using insults and won't hesitate to use them myself. That doesn't seem to be unique around here.
I lurked for several months before posting. So far I've made 3 accounts. The first was HardTruths420. I honestly forget what the second was because they banned me after just one post (granted, I was calling the mod compromised).
But hey, in my view, their behavior seems highly suspect.
