Most don't understand why it was done in that strange way, not just recognition of DPR/LPR with following military support in current DPR/LPR limits. There is no any desire to acquire any additional Ukrainian territory, or to merge Ukraine into Russia in that group.
Of course there is noticeable part thet supports anything government do, and also noticeable part that think this is an absolute crime.
Also, Ukrainians for that matter.
Ukrainians mostly angry.
I feel the 2014 coup was indeed an escalation of force on the West's part.
Kind of. West was definitely in that coup, but I think that was planned and people on the streets really decided nothing.
