People died, and that sucks. But to attempt to trick a population into believing they had a chance... that’s like telling your local High School Football team they “could totally smash the Kansas City Chiefs.”

That’s much worse, imho.

Now, as we know, Guerrilla war is a bitch, so an outright occupation might be Russia’s Afghanistan all over... but whereas the Mujahideen had infinite US weaponry and training, and “7 virgins in Hebben,” Russia probably won’t allow that again.
