You sound exactly like me and my experience. Double degrees (not that it really means shit, if you can't think), can do stats, bayes, draw my own inferences, have published, consulted, received grants, etc all that useless info-warrior shite.

They always quote the yellow papers or point to a tv 1min "news segment" as facts.
No amount of replicated , peer-reviewed, population representative, high statistically powered results will persuade them. Not even if I draw simple graphs. Nor will heart wrenching emotional stories from real people who have been hurt and hung out to dry.
