I don't think most people realize how bad just a small amount of people boycotting a publicly traded company has an effect on it's bottom-line. Companys this size freak out if their EARNINGS drop a few percent from the previous year. Now if they actually lose all profit and go into the red, then corporate heads roll. This all hinges on just a small percentage of their users walking away.
