EDIT: I have even seen a pattern in the United States and Hong Kong where opposition political groups (Republicans and the pro-Democracy camp, respectively) are being discouraged from taking the jab by politicizing the issue. What do you think the political outlook in America for the next century would be if about a million Republican voters just die? Would there even be two parties after that? You can bet that some people actually want to make it happen.
