France, Italy, Spain and Greece all buy massive amounts of crude from Iran. Now they will have to ship it all the way around Africa or find a new source because Saudi oil is also blocked with no pipeline.
Perhaps this is a ploy to demonstrate the need for multinational pipelines in the middle east.
